Juan Rando is the founder and Co-Principal of JRDA.
Juan’s dance background includes Ballroom, Rockabilly, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Argentine Tango and more. Since 1996, Juan has studied both Tango and Salsa intensively, as well as keeping an interest in other Latin styles including Bachata, Gafiera as well as West Coast Swing.
Juan Rando has been the major contributor in Perth to both Salsa & Tango, through his dedication to constantly travelling and studying dance technique as well as introducing new styles as each dacne form has evolved. Never happy to remain stagnant, Juan is constantly keeping Perth up to date with the new and improvved techniques.
Juan’s Technical and Instinctual understanding of body movement and lead/follow dynamics has gained him a reputation both locally and nationally for producing some the finest dance technicians in the country, in the art of both Tango and Salsa.
Most importantly his students have gone on the win National & State Championships in both Tango and Salsa.
